Whenever there is a mention about men’s clothing, only two things strike our minds and they are t-Shirts and jeans. Even after such a drastic movement in men’s fashion, people still are happy wearing their Paul and Shark Jumpers with jeans. There is no denial that they look nice but the problem is in adopting same clothing for all occasions. Very few men are conscious and careful about their clothing style. Many fail to understand the importance of clothing as per occasion. This kind of mental trend amongst men about clothing ends up in a fashion disaster, for which they feel embarrassed only after it’s too late to realize. In order to avoid such mistakes, below are the fashion blunders you must avoid.
Tie It up Neat
Getting the length of a tie wrong is one of the common blunders men do. The tie should be till the buckle of the belt in the middle. A tie tied up too short will make you look like a clown and too long will make you look immature like a small kid. Wrap your tie neatly and properly because the way you wear a tie tells a lot about yourself.
Age It Right
Wear clothes that suit your age. Like a teenager will not look good wearing loose fit trousers and plain formal shirts; similarly mini skirt won’t suit an old lady. Dress according to your age. Figure hugging flashy t-shirts and skinny jeans will definitely be a bad choice for a matured and aged man. Dress yourself according to your age, personality, and body shape. Remember that you are what you wear.
Suit Up Nice
You cannot wear one suit for all occasions, especially if it’s a shiny one. There are few designer suits that might go well for all occasions, but if you are having only one pair and it is a shiny suit then definitely it is not going to suit all the purposes. Shiny suites look good only if you are sitting in a casino in Las Vegas. But if you are planning to wear that same suit for a formal event like a funeral, it will make you look like a fool. Choose the suit colour and style as per the occasion. Not all suits look formal.
Be Confident About Your Pants
Combination of suspenders and belts together is the biggest fashion blunder men make. You need to have trust on your pants that it won’t fall. The combination of these two accessories at the same time shows that you are not confident about your pants. Pick such pants that have nice fitting.
Control Your Sleeves
Wearing too short sleeves is also not a good fashion tip. Many people even wear a tie with extra short sleeves shirt. This combination looks good only if you are in a profession like restaurant manager or a photographer.
Always choose a style that complements your whole personality and profession. Dressing up is not rocket science if done wisely. Experimenting with looks is not a bad idea, but always beware of your limits so that you don’t look foolish and too much over-the-top.
